Kolibri Games ranks number one among Technology Fast 50’s “Rising Stars” – Germany’s fastest growing tech companies

With a growth rate of 2.282,45 percent the mobile games startup secures a spot in the “Rising Stars” category of 2018’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50.

Berlin | Kolibri Games has been awarded a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award in the “Rising Stars” category. The ranking is based on companies’ percentage revenue growth throughout the past two fiscal years [2016-2017]. In this period, the Berlin-based mobile games company was able to achieve a 2.282,45 percent growth, securing the first place among the “Rising Stars”. The category awards fast-growing startups that have been on the market for at least two years, and have reported a revenue of at least 25.000 euros in 2016 and at least 500.000 euros in 2017.

Throughout the past years, numerous fast-growing German companies have positioned themselves in future-oriented areas of technology. Responsible for this development are entrepreneurs that, with a calculated appetite for risk and entrepreneurial spirit, have managed to consistently follow their vision”, says Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Technology, Media & Telecommunications EMEA Lead at Deloitte. “With the Fast 50 Award, we aim to acknowledge outstanding entrepreneurial achievements for Germany as a high-tech location.”

Daniel Stammler, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Kolibri Games, says: “We are extremely happy to claim a spot among the “Rising Stars” this year. Receiving a Fast 50 is a great recognition of our past efforts and underlines our aspiration to maintain this upswing in the coming year and to keep growing. Yes, we are rising, but the stars are not our limit.”
